✓ 5 Alignments
✓ What’s Important Now (WIN)
✓ Placing Attention with Intention
Distraction is the enemy of excellence.
When organizations focus on too many strategic themes and initiatives, distractions abound—depleting resources and fracturing the attention of employees, teams, and leaders.
Without a dialed-in strategic plan, everyone struggles to align and deliver on the goals, initiatives, and daily actions that deliver the greatest impact.
Knowing what to focus on transforms confusion into clarity.
Attentional Leadership leverages its 5 Alignments framework—scanning Future, Internal, External, and Past factors—to inform current and strategic Focus.
Together they help your organization place its attention with intention on its strategic WINs.
These WINs compel greater team and individual focus and organization-wide alignment towards your organizations intended mission, vision, and legacy.

The Attentional Leadership Approach
Attentional Leadership empowers individuals, teams, and leaders with a
multidimensional framework for identifying and achieving your
organizational WINs.
It’s time to narrow focus and achieve strategic excellence.
I’m Bruce H. Jackson, MBA/MPA, PhD., developer of Attentional Leadership and the 5 Alignments framework—designed to help organizations, teams, and individuals place their attention with intention on What’s Important Now (WIN).
As a researcher and practitioner, I studied under some of the best minds in the field of performance/positive psychology and organization development.
Like any elite performer, aspiring organizations and teams can leverage the same frameworks and methodologies to achieve greater focus and excellence.
Through my work with associations, non-profits, & organizations, I’ve seen first hand how principles, which contribute to sustained focus on strategic priorities, are the same at the individual, team, and organizational levels. Collectively, they achieve the organization’s mission, deliver on its brand promises, and optimize its value and impact to the members, markets and stakeholders it serves.
The key to moving the needle requires analyzing the 5 Alignments and uncovering your strategic areas of focus. In the decades since, I’ve helped organizations, teams, and individuals move the needle by filtering out the noise and distractions while focusing on strategic WINs.
Help your organization move the needle in 3 simple steps
